That had me wondering along the same lines as you. But I am glad they can at least produce at this level. Looking forward to reading the quarterly about BB.

I understand the contractor was in financial difficulty and WGX came to their rescue, in part because Cookie said the discontinuation of those services would be extremely disruptive for WGX's operations. I do not know the details, but I assume its been a dud buy and the mining operations have consumed a lot of WGX's cash balances over time.
If nothing goes wrong at BB they will continue to add to their cash $137m balance over time given the high gold price, and especially as the hedges are worked off. Perhaps Cookie will use some of the funds to buy some new tenements near the mills.
