WGX just continues to frustrate with their lack of consistency when it comes to releasing important updates like quarterlies. They certainly love to keep you guessing. I remember the FY20 December quarterly result that was released at nearly 2pm. It's absolute bullshit really. Who else does that? They never have quarterly conference calls or even have the decency to give investors a general heads up on when to expect results.

As a company they have a ton of upside potential yet they are constantly under-valued on most metrics when compared to their peers.
Their track record of (over promising and under delivering) seems the main driver of this.

I feel logically that their quarterly results will be a significant improvement QoQ yet there is always this nagging doubt that hangs over this company.
I have started making a conscious effort to use a logic checklist with all my investment decisions. But if something seems off even slightly now, I listen to my gut and just move onto the next opportunity. Not releasing production data with the bidding statement just tweaked that gut feeling. Who knows, you could be right and they are just trying to play the long game. I would think this would be a strange strategy with the time constraint built in and the impending TOV decision.

I originally purchased more GCY just for the arbitrage, yet as much as it could potentially cost me a chunk of cash in the short term, I wouldn't be that disappointed to see WGX fail in their bid to T/O GCY. I really have disliked their T/O approach thus far. As each day passes, the more accustomed I am with GCY going it alone with FFR. It's nice to see GCY getting a little bit of luck with the drill bit again, and with people like Richard Hay and Simon Lawson on the board, I think the new GCY's future looks in good hands regardless.
