Correct, I was referring to the underwritten component of the DRP - Hence, why I replied to the announcement about it!
I am well aware of how regular DRP's work. Generally, the company pays out a portion of profits as a cash dividend, or, if elected for the DRP, they keep the cash and issue the value in shares. Standard.
What I was questioning was about the underwritten component, - seems WBC is paying zero dividend from their own profits... they are basically capital raising under the guise of a dividend?
