At a time when the local economy is very strong (refer RBA) these banks should be shooting the lights out with these announcements but no way, just more of the same. For WBC that current CEO should be well advanced with major reforms to its operating results, but instead just a litany of excuses and waffle, the retail shareholders invariably cherry pick some minute not so bad items, to assuage the feeling of being disappointed, once again. Ground hog day for these banker type dinosaurs.
