Yes, I actually thought WBC might go up in SP because of the news but the market does not seem to understand the numbers. $500 million is not much, arguably they should have had that capital there already.
WBC SP should go up. I think th idea of the conflicted IBM in its Promontory arm being mentioned by Transurban and Westpac’s Chair Maxsted in the ANN has probably sent it down.
Sorts of says the problems will be internalised and will not be fixed. So the poor Announcement sent the Westpac SP South not the capital number IMHO.
