I see systemic failure on the part of AUSTRAC who had years as well also ASIC to follow up which was their failing also. LitePay Limited transfers to less thaN $2,500, and millions of good and honest Westpac customers used this to community good. I see this whole Civil Action thing a beat up, and Scott Morrison should stay out of it. There is too much bank bashing, and it is destroying shareholder capital, dividends and the community that depends on the banking system. I hold Westpac shares in my SMSF and am dismayed at the rapid fallout in this stock over two days of almost 5.6%. Hopefully the Chairman can Institute damage control and first inform shareholders, then support his CEO, and get on with business banking.
