of course not. However I sincerely doubt the board or CEO had any idea that a lack of controls existed for this to occur.
i want them to fix it. As does everyone else. My argument is this is cheap at historical earnings. Not a lot of value right now on the market, however banks are cheap.
please have a google of global banks doing much worse. These are house hold names too. Even knowingly laundering dictator money obtained illegally from the government coffers. Heck look at the GFC fines.
Youll see some fairly significant investors acquiring major stakes in these institutions during said turmoil.
