If it helps you then a buyback on $21 average price and 10% discount will get you back a total of $22.14 (11.34 cap comopenent + 7.56 Dividend + 3.24 Franking Credit). So you don't get back your $24 but you may have got some dividends to compensate. Also the various components and their tax consequences will have different timings.
I guess you have to decide based on what is the opportunity cost of holding on Vs liquidating and your own situation.
