Hi, My inclination is to just punt on this being a failure [the buyback] . Timing definitely a factor , as you said .By the time I wait for my franking credit refund[ I'm slow and lazy with my super tax return] ,almost a year. Now if it is very poorly supported , my 0 to 1 % discount might just sneak thru . Then it is worth it. No harm , no foul if it doesn't Seriously poor board management. Well at least it isn't my biggest bank holding ............ anymore. grrrrrr cheers
