yes you still get the dividend the only people the people that should consider the buyback are people on zero tax and smsfs and those with cap gains. everyone else benefits because our shareholdibg goes up. if we used to own 1% of th company we will now own 1.1% after the buyback because they have bought and deletxed some shares figures are not accutate
