    According to this, it looks very attractive from a tax perspective. If the franking component is 4.5, that's massive for those who don't have to pay tax. And you gain a "loss" credit to add to future CGT offset too. This makes it perfect to use the option put strategy to hold on to the shares (to get them back at the current price) and sell existing shares to Westpac. Alternatively, just buy from the market at this price and sell them back to Westpac.
