Not much sense in speculating about the imminent drop we all know will happen tomorrow.
Usually the x drop is a few more cents than the the divvy.
With most blue chips the loss is recovered within a couple of weeks of trading.
When WBC drops 60 or 70 cents in the morning I will be grabbing as much as I can afford.

The bank has been whacked by regulatory penalties and asset write downs.
It has survived a couple of very bad years and still sits on a very large pile of cash.
On the positive side a divvy of 60 cents plus credits is not to be scoffed at , plus the 3.5 bill buy back, the bank seems to have seen the light in terms of home loan lending and is gaining (some momentum there ) some !!

The next 12 months will test Mr Kings determination along with all of our patience.
Hope they don't loose to many good people with the cost cutting.
