    To me it looks like time to buy now that the the price has tanked.

    IMHO, business looks to have turned and to be moving forward (good lending volume growth and better improved operational performance), also leveraged to rising interest rates (as all the banks are).

    The fact that despite the buyback they are keeping a very large capital surplus tells me that like ANZ they are keeping spare capital to be be able to grow their book over the next 12 months. (the cynical view ,might be that they are uncertain about the environment and consequently want to retain capital, but I think that the positive view is more likely given the lending growth they are experiencing).
