Before they can do that they will have to accept responsibility for the poor copy cat design of their buy back proposal and announce its withdrawal. Looks like they did not have enough franking credit balance to support a design weighted more towards dividends and less of capital component but having given feelers to analysts they still went ahead with it. Doesn't give you much confidence in their management team.
