The buyback seems likely to be inequitable to most share holders. This proposal seems like a lesson in how to give away $3.5 billion to benefit a shrinking class of shareholders and not the rest of them and likely not achieve a permanent or even temporary share price rise because of the b it uyback. Just scrap it and declare a special dividend. Tough job giving away billions of dollars so some can achieve losses to offset against the future profits they will of course be making.
