The shorts covering acknowledges the possibility of a bottom forming.

IMO, and hopefully I’m correct, WBC is a low risk long term play.

    30% price reduction.

2.4% six month dividend payment. Don’t see this going lower given current in the next 4-6 declarations given the current environment. May go back to $1.88 for the full year before long, it’s a distinct possibility.

3% market cap reduction after completion of buy back. Don’t agree with the negativity surrounding this, wait and see situation. Completely agree with the company focusing on the best interests of retirees. I’ll be one of these one day

    Upcoming 1.5% rate increase.

8 billion (big call imo) cost reduction plan for the upcoming 26 months.

    Management behaving themselves imo.

Buy with a long term growth/dividend mindset imo.

Up 4.4% on my $20.17 investment from last week.
No intention of selling, will continue buying until end of financial year reporting season and then wait although I think this is a conservative outlook that could change anytime.

Don’t see a lot of negativity with WBC for future reference.
