Hartzer not the right CEO (if ever) but his downfall I think was due to the failure of the CFO function and all that encompaces.
To replace the CEO even temporarily with CFO in these circumstances is mind blowing !
But, I do accept that CFO will know more about the business of Westpac than any other person with the company as it is today ...
