    Well I'm not going to say you're wrong but your experience simply doesn't tally with mine and I don't expect either of us are going to disclose our previous or current roles so we can only go so far on this topic.

    But you have to admit your experience also doesn't seem to tally with Westpac because they've just appointed the old CFO as new CEO. Surely if the board thought the CFO was in ANY way accountable they simply wouldn't have gone there or there'd be a mutiny.

    Agree? Hard to argue?
