First, I have never seen a CEO query or otherwise overide the material set out and stated and presented by a CFO.
Second, I seen many a corporate initiative "ventilated" in the BoD meeting(s) deferred to the CFO for his teams view.
Third, other than the Chairman running the Meetings Agenda and the CEO stating the high level corporate landscape - the CFO is the most powerful in status and corporate functionality - who has the temerity to tell the CFO to go ??? Other, than a BoD collective acting in unisom - but, not here !
