I have also sent my $30K but I am happy because the "fine print" said that we would get the shares at the lower of SSP price OR "....the VWAP2 of Westpac shares traded on the ASX during the five trading days up to" 2 Dec.

Of course if the SP goes substantially DOWN after 2 Dec, then we might be looking at Pizza rather than turkey for Christmas )

I think there would be many shareholders who are selling now (at the higher than SSP price) and putting in their order for equivalent number of shares with the SSP - this means that after 2 Dec we should all see strong upward momentum of the SP - with just enough time to put in the order for the turkey !
