I think this is good for WBC. I don't know how much it costs to maintain a stock listing on the premier stock exchange in the world - the NYSE - but it can't be that cheap. And what good was it doing for Westpac? None of the other banks here have a separate US listing of their shares. Seems like a frivolous expense to me, glad they're getting rid of it.
