Wouldn't be at all surprised if this has or is occurring (BG partnership). Dilution factor with regards to share issue will then be reduced and risk if any and costs, associated with the new purchase will be shared between WCL and BG.
I suppose if you exist now assuming a pro rate issue is completed you run the risk of how many if any shares you are eligible to take up.
Knowing management and their savvy ways, I wouldn't be at all surprised if and when they do this, they will make the pro rata issue from a date prior to the announcement date so those not holding won't be eligible!! An announcement to this effect prior to this idea would be brilliant as it would hopefully create some interest in WCL (share price appreciation) and truly reward the faithful holders of this stock!
P.S. Yet again the share price is kept down. Bugger!!
