Tropical Cyclone Hidaya will close the road in and our of Lindi. The company will need to dedicate money and resources to repairing storm damage. All part of operating a mine in Africa but whereas gold mining companies can fly bullion out, bulk producers such as graphite cannot. Large inventories of spares need to be carried because roads can be closed for weeks.
