Cunningham probably purchased those gold specimens from a local or Chinese dealer. The Amani tenement is probably overrun by artisonal aluvial miners working unsafely. Good luck getting them to move along if you ever discover the mother lode. The "sharp edges" are a result of the gold sponge from mercury amalgam being smashef with a hammer to mimick a naturally occurring nugget.
