Free option for every shareholder to buy at 2.54 - valuable option that gives free leverage to the SP. (Option value should increase proportionatly with the SP as it's exercisable at any time.. so arbitrage opportunities should reduce differential)
so it adds shareholder value at no cost, increases FUM and fees collected by wilson asset mgmt.. and dilution isn't really an issue because all the cash goes straight into the investment portfolio to generate returns on.
Has created as close to a win win as you'll see.. is an advantage of the LIC structure.
