surely nobody is buying this for kentuck oil assets.

so it hardly seems necessary to even comment on them.

but when you are sitting on or near geology that is currently being bought up at $5000-$14,000 per acre by some of the US oil majors for its shale gas potential, i think it no longer matters how pathetic your non core assets are. what matters is the acreage you own, and the fact that the market cap is so small


i am not buying into this with the expectation that the board will come good or that their crappy Kentucky oil assets will suddenly magically bloom.

i am fully aware of what AWE, and others before them were, and of what i expect some US gas plays will soon be:

that these guys have the right gas assets, and all they seem to want (or be capable of) is to be taken for an easy ride.

so i am happy to buy my ticket at "dog stock" prices and take my seat too
