M&A ... market delivering opportunities. It might be delivering opportunities but it’s no good writing about it, you probably need to act ... I think they will have a crack at Alto AME this time around. WB has proven to be a bit cheap and stubborn with the GCY deal. He will just want a win somewhere. But cheap is not always good it’s just cheap.
As far as a deal with Gcy the problem is with most companies they can’t see past the competitor status, it’s foreign for them to actually work together ( moreso in WGX case with the prior failed bid for GCY, and WB and SL both involved )
The market knows GCY needs milling ore and that alone will probably preclude anyone wanting to get involved ... it’s just competitive nature to run them out of business or try rather than nurture opportunity and both do well. History would show egos cost money and make for poor decisions.
Personally to me it’s a no brainer to process any excess ore and monetise it immediately without any upfront capital cost or ongoing commitment .... as shareholders of both we can only hope something can happen.
I really think we will start seeing movement on the m&a front soon so to allow deal finalisation prior to year end. Time will tell.
