since early 2019 RMS have taken over 4 companies prior to MGV* , mostly with board approval ....there were no unsuccessful attempts .
With the possible exception of the last ,BRB , seems the offer has been generous in terms of $'s per oz and that is why they have usually had target board approval and why they succeeded .
Would not expect anything different here.
Seems RMS is determined on rationalisation of the western Australian goldfields single handed .
Three , like MGV , are truckable "bolt-ons" while the other two will eventually provide a new mning hub .
Whikle the GP holds or improves this is likely to be a succesfful strategy as their are several stranded assets and projects that would dilute down hugely to develop so should be a win both for the target and the bidder - which of course is why the boards support .
Many here will be aware - for those not ....a bit of context as to the RMS habit .
* before they started their takeover spree they had bought Edna May mine and mill from EVN - limmited life possibly but has been a succesful purchase for some years having paid back after maybe 18 months or some such
also bought a small deposit Marda (cheap) and had bought several useful things prior
