A merger with GCY is of course possible. However, I'm not sure that a merger will be attractive to GCY since it somewhat conflicts with their strategy - IMO GCY is focused on proving up Never Never and then once they have established a viable Never Never reserve to recommence mining. I'm not sure that GCY want to disrupt this process by engaging with MGV, albeit a merger with MGV would likely strengthen GCY's longer term position.
