Mr Cook is a Geologist (BSc (Applied Geology)) and a Mineral Economist (MSc (Min. Econ), MAusIMM with over 30 years of experience in the fields of exploration, project, operational and corporate management of mining companies. During the past three years he has served as a director of Metals X Limited, Pantoro Limited, Mongolian Resource Corporation Limited and Aziana Limited. He is a past winner of the GMJ Mining Executive of the Year in 2001 and the Asian – Mining Executive of the Year in 2015, awarded at the Mines and Money Conference in Hong Kong in 2015.
