why is anyone spending any time wondering about the potential market size in India.........thats a given. and thats the wrong question
the real questions are:
what is their channel - online/offline?
is it direct to retail or via distribution
if its sales to a wholesaler, what state is it in india; there are HUGE internal inefficiencies in india (cross state taxes, sales taxes, horrid logistics) and general import duties and taxes
what are distributor margins and retail margins
Therefore what is the retail price
is that competitive in the market
how much is the order; is it a "oncer"/trial/test........
GetSwift made wonderful announcements about new customers, but weren't transparent on the details (and no i didn't/dont hold that stock) and look what is happening to them; and I'm NOT suggesting WHA is tarred by the same brush.
