Why cant they, once merged, sell off either SOL or MLT shares to free up cash for O.S. spending ? Once it is merged cant they deal/sell any cross over in shares at what ever cost base suits them. I dont expect management to be anything 'usual'.
if they do want more global I expect they have already lined it up and now just have to pay for it.
