Something like SOL trades at a slight premium to its NAV usually I suppose. Unlike BKI, which is around on par. Currently slightly under (pre-tax NTA reported as $1.45, price is $1.35).
I did a rough and dirty calculation because of that exact issue you raised. So go back to the report dated 30 June 2020 and they have $5.2bn of reported NAV. Then, you can quite quickly look at the price changes of investments held, inclusive of the dividends etc. So currently, as I mentioned using my rough estimates, there is around $400m Market Cap > NAV. I suspect there will be some reversion on that - who knows how much and when though, and it could be from the underlying securities gaining in value too.
