    You have a good understanding of the kaolin industry for a retired IT codger. It is not possible to delaminate kaolin using a dry process as that takes sand grinding in a delaminator. That process is useful for creating a paper product and possibly a bit for coatings but potential margins would be paper thin to use a pun. Large scale production of dry processed kaolins is done worldwide and not complicated. You are right about high-grading it though and I think WAK have built a rod for their own backs by promoting their premium grade which of course everyone would want but then finding out that producing large amounts of that have a lot of serious knock-on implications. Especially when you look at their Reserve and realise that they won't get to their good stuff until about year 50.
