it's not a bad sign - when the people that have enough money to be able to manipulate the market and do so to their agenda. For me it normally means they have a team looking at data, mapped accordingly and decide that they will pull the trigger. Then when they have acquired the holding they want, they let the SP run and cease to manipulate. Not always as black and white and Robin Hood didn't always wear a mask.
