the concern with your comment about him being the smartest guy in the mining space is that this doesn’t transcend to the workers on his mine sites, so if he is tactically smart that’s one thing but you need to bring people with you and he has a terrible reputation within his workers.
I agree that he is trying to tie up the resources so that he can be a king maker, but he ain’t no Mark Creasy and he’s just throwing his money around. Gina is key here, no question and I wouldn’t be surprised if she is taking a position during this manipulation to out flank him as she is by far the smartest of them all in WA.
