With the 3m gap being wall rock and potentially caused by wall rock alteration, I would expect your geo to say there would be a fair chance that the two segments would merge into one pegmatite but we will not be able to tell absolutely until more drilling is done nearby. They two segments are so close that the question as to whether it is one single pegmatite or two separate pegmatites becomes pretty irrelevant IMO. AIMO.
I wonder if I will find out that I am actually starting to learn about this stuff and not have to always rely on experts that I follow such as @Weally.
