Commodities are cyclical, they all move in boom, bust cycles.
The lithium & nickel price will recover one day. The fact that mines are closing is a good thing (not for shareholders in those companies) but for the market in general. It reduces the supply of lithium & nickel in the market. Less product & a pick up in demand one day will mean the price for both commodities should recover in time.
