Please point out an announcement that says the plant has been purchased? They could produce a measured and indicated resource tomorrow because they've drilled at extremely close spacings. However its a safe bet they won't as it wouldn't amount to much. At present size, the value of the resource won't get anywhere near covering the cost of the plant needed.

It doesn't matter who wins the election, no-one is going to issue a license to mine the tiny amount of uranium so far discovered. With the inevitable environmental, security, political and health issues that would be raised, its not worth the hassle because the economic value to the state is minuscule (negative if you include the bureaucratic cost). If there was a couple of hundred MT of the stuff then it might be worth opening it up for debate - but that implies expanding it to 1000 or more times its present size. Not likely given the small size of the radiometric anomaly.
