Tim - you can’t pay dividends from capital raised.... only unfranked capital returns.
The SP is at crazy highs especially given the March NTA report. I can understand some holders being reluctant to sell (eg. If they bought sub $1 and are holding in a company so would lose 30% of the gain in tax if they sold ... but even then, they’d be ahead of NTA!!). But otherwise? Completely crazy ??? Why are holders holding at these elevated prices? Are more to the point, why are buyers buying?
