How do you think ppl will vote if thousands lose their jobs. Cant pay mortgages so have to sell, but everyone else that cant pay are also selling so property starts to drop. Then buyers get nervous and hold back bc they are scared of losing their job too or they think, wait and they might get a place cheaper again. It can also happen if interest rates sky rocket. The rot sets it. Govts get voted out.
