Wish as we may; the WA Liberals wont win the next election. Lets be realistic. Dont want the most likely result to come to be and investors dump because of some unrealistic assumption.

The CXU CEO is vocal about changing the policy even in a next labor term, driven by (a) supportive LNP federal government hopefully, (b) job lossess in other mining sectors incl iron ore, lithium, nickel creating pressure, need to diversify economy, moral high ground of helping the world decarbonise, and fundamentally a change in community views on this issue nothwithstanding some residual union historic resistance. (which just doesnt make sense given the jobs issue).
