Completely agree. Although I might add this pattern does coincide with the Li sell off. Unfortunately a TA and FA can work in synergy in the opposite direction.
Personally, this is going to go lower, yes there is a gap but I can see it going even lower. Not a popular opinion but hopefully people on the forum know me enough that I'm not a downramper either.
Morale is right now, I wouid say holders have their fingers over the sell button for anyone that bought in sub 80c recently and more so for those that bought in above $1.10 for a short term trade (month of so). We have already seen this get walked down from $1.40 to 96 on low volume and I believe this same will happen again.
Post CR is when smart money accumulate. As retail sells off for losses and fear that continous red days will cause its easy pickings.
We all know that the SP always, goes below the CR price but in one day we are already there. Generally it takes a few days. Shows the pressure.
The Li sentiment does help either and thats compounded by lack of news. I dare say assays will stop the bleeding for a day or two but now people are in the red. News will get sold into.
Quite clear that Renard news is the real catalyst at that is some months away. Plenty of time for damage to be done. Personally, I like they raised 25 not 20, just to get an extra quarter at these prices.
I honestly can't see any buying presence come in to reverse this as there is nothing in the tank. Yes, there could be a partnership announcement but trying to time that is basically gambling. People really need to be honest with themselves how they want to invest. Its clear this will be a rocky time, so make a decision and be at peace with that.
The fact Li prices have dropped once more just shows more companies will go into maintenance or become not viable. As more and more do so, that is when the supply narrative will change. Until then the position for me is either accumulate DCA style or sit on the sidelines and wait for the signal of the turn.
Not financial advice of course but I also want this forum to be factual in the reality of where we are. Undervalued yes, but under these conditions it really doesn't mean much. People make money when you have a large holding at the start of a commodity cycle BUT it can be a long LONG time until it starts back up again.
Many here thought this would the year, now it could be end of next year and maybe even then. Question is how much patience do you have.
