Both seem to be good appointments. These are the sort of roles a company like this naturally get to once they reach a certain maturity (after productisation and release, marketing etc) and need to differentiate themselves from the competition to achieve sustainable growth.
Yes @australiasydney they won't be cheap and will add cost to the wage bill, but these decisions are made on the basis they will bring a multiple of that amount in value to the company.
