Wisr CEO lashed for unlawful sacking over Skype joke
David Marin-GuzmanWorkplace correspondentSep 20, 2022 – 6.21pmNon-bank lender Wisr must pay more than $50,000 for unlawfully firing a manager over a low-level Skype joke that its CEO exaggerated as inciting violence in the workplace.
...The court is still to determine civil penalties against Wisr for the unlawful conduct.
