Loan book growth should impact on market cap and therefore share price. Based on what I understand to be a guide used to value IPOs (eg the one oft planned and then shelved by SocietyOne), a lender's value on this basis is around 65% of the size of the loan book. While this announcement doesn't mention the size of the book, if we assume that all of the loans written in the same quarter 3 years ago were repaid this quarter ($2.1m, according to the chart), then the size of loan book increased by ($61.9m - $2.1m =) $59.8m, and the market cap should increase by 65% of this, being $38.87. This, in turn, should be reflected in a 19% in share price (based on the current market cap of $202.6m).
