If you were keeping up to date on the BCL news you would of noticed that the company is only recently coming out of liquidation. This process has taken years and the new board joined Si6 on the light of BCL getting taken over by a new company. If there was no clarity on the BCL deal (even back in 2019) no one would of continued a work program on the Botswana assets.
This would of been a good reason why Volpe did not continue to spend money on BCLs liquidating assets pre 2019. Most of the issues were out of SI6 control.
