Aurora labs is not showing their tech, Nothing was shown at formnext except an empty fancy box (no lasers). To reassure the market and get interest from industrial used to operate LBM machines, they should be showing a real video of the process (not a CGI). Showing all lasers working simultaneously on a complex part, demonstrate dimenssional accuracy of the part , present independant analysis of material properties such as Density and tensile strenght, elasticity etc..
And then maybe they will be get some credibility.
Because today they are not showing the number of lasers for pseudo "intellectual properties reasons" and only showing the capabilities to Advanced interested customers. How do you get interested customers without demonstrating your capabilities ?
In front of aurora labs their are giants as SLM EOS Renishaw GE Trumpf, showing their tech, demonstrating manufacturing capabilities, delivering material datasheet of as build material. From an industrial point of view if I have to choose between auroralabs or any of those I will go for real machines and not promises.
If Aurora Labs made a breakthrough and has IP on its tech why not show it to the world ?
If they dont start to take a step in this direction during 1st quarter of 2020, and we no machine sold to industrials, I'll be better off this stock.
Again, this is a personnal analysis and open to discussion, not an incentive to sell or buy.
