I must be a bit simple here or something, but honestly I don't really see how a share price target is a good gauge of an executives efforts, I don't think it's worthy of performance shares in the slightest. Share price IMO is pretty much the weakest gauge of a company's value, as backwards as that may sound. You only have to look in this forum, see the amount of impatient skin scratchers begging for a price raise like their life depended on it. IMO if investors only way to quantify or view their investments is through the share price, they need to pick up a book.
