It was definitely a withdrawal due to knowing they wouldn’t succeed. It must have been an overwhelming no vote given they didn’t remove the others which weren’t carried.
Given they always claim the bonuses are part of normal remuneration and don’t need shareholder approval, let’s see if they find another way to force the bonuses through. Wouldn’t surprise me if they withdrew the resolutions because they didn’t want the recorded no vote when they push the bonuses through another way…
regardless, they’ll try again for the same bonuses next year I am sure.
